Jewelry Care Tips
Properly tending to your Roze Jewelry will extend its wear life, ensuring your cherished pieces endure for years to come. Abide by these simple guidelines to preserve the allure of your jewelry.
Avoid Moisture: Shield your jewelry from wet environments. Refrain from wearing it in the shower or storing it in humid areas. Always apply lotions, makeup, hairspray, and perfume before adorning your jewelry. Keep it clear of household cleaning products.
Caring for Sterling Silver Jewelry: Our sterling silver jewelry is marked with a 925 stamp. Gently polish these pieces with a jewelry polishing cloth. For more intensive care, immerse in a solution of lukewarm water and mild dishwashing liquid for a gentle hand wash. For a more robust clean, a soft toothbrush can be used. Ensure thorough rinsing and complete drying to ward off tarnishing due to moisture. Never employ bleach for cleaning. If the jewelry includes gemstones or pearls, avoid submerging the entire piece; instead, use a cotton swab with mild dishwashing liquid for the silver components.
Please note: These instructions are not applicable to silver-plated items. Refer to the subsequent section for plated items.
Caring for Gold Plated Stainless Steel Jewelry or Silver Plated Jewelry: To cleanse your gold-plated jewelry at home, employ a non-abrasive jewelry cleaner suitable for plated parts or use mild soap and water. Employ a gentle cloth to meticulously clean the piece. After cleaning, rinse with lukewarm water and allow it to thoroughly dry. Gently buff your plated jewelry with a soft cloth for a radiant finish.
Note: Avoid using a jewelry polishing cloth, as it can harm the finish.
Caring for Brass Jewelry: To restore brass to its original luster, create a paste using baking soda, water, and lemon juice. Gently rub the mixture onto the piece with a soft cloth. Wash off the mixture under running water, then dry and buff the piece with a clean cloth.
Caring for Stainless Steel Jewelry: For stainless steel jewelry, fill a small bowl with warm water and mild dishwashing soap. Submerge a soft, lint-free cloth in the soapy water, and gently wipe the jewelry until it's clean. Always clean along its polish lines. Employ a moist cloth dipped in clean water to wipe off any remaining soap, then dry the jewelry thoroughly with a clean towel and allow it to air dry. Post-cleaning, use a jewelry polishing cloth to restore its shine.
Caring for Braided or Beaded Jewelry: For beaded or braided jewelry, utilize a soft brush to apply a solution of warm water and mild soap. If cleaning near a sink, place a rubber mat or cloth over the drain to prevent loss of small components.
